One would think, that the most popular post on our blog would be related to whale watching, wedding planning or special vacation packages. But since the inception of our blog 1 year ago, our post on Poseidon, the underwater resort, has received the most clicks and interest. There is no doubt that the travel industry is evolving and more than ever the thrill seeking super rich are looking for the "Titanic" experience of our day. For those who cannot afford these extravagant adventures, the internet allows us to experience the thrill through various media outlets from our computer screen. A big story in the news recently had video-game developer and millionaire Richard Garriott spending a reported 37 million dollars to fly to the International Space Station, making this the most extravagant leisure travel experience of all time. There is no doubt that this type of travel experience is out of reach for most, however there are a handful of companies seeking to be the first to bring Space Travel to the mainstream. On the forefront of that race is Virgin Galactic. Their aim is to give the super rich the opportunity to become one of the first ever non-professional astronauts.

Over the years visitors have asked if the Inn is haunted. As a skeptic I tend to deny the existence of ghosts at Newagen. I can see the fun in believing and even promoting that they may exist at your property and many hotels and Inns do just that. I think there is a romantic appeal and excitement at the thought of visiting a place that may have ghosts residing in the walls.
Over the years employees have commented on strange occurrences and chalked it up to the paranormal. It is rumored that a former night auditor named Clarence died at the Inn and now resides in room 106. (Personally, I would not be too scared of a ghost named Clarence.) I have never seen any real evidence of ghost sightings or hauntings at Newagen Seaside Inn, until a recent report caused me to consider the validity of some of these claims.

The Crisis
