Where else can you watch a cod fish relay and then go to a fish fry? OR where else can you watch young kids race on lobster crates and and eventually fall in 40 degree water? Each April local fisherman and the community gather in Boothbay Harbor for an annual event to celebrate the rich heritage of fishing and boating this region has celebrated for hundreds of years. The Fishermans Festival takes place April 24 - April 26 in Boothbay Harbor.

In consideration of challenging economic times for many we have decided to unveil a giveaway and we believe that today,Tax Day, is the perfect day to lift your spirits.
Recently, we discovered a heartfelt review from a wedding that took place at Newagen Seaside Inn in September of 2008. The review is full of good feedback on what went well and how they would change certain aspects if they could turn back the clock.
Our son held his wedding at The Inn during a holiday weekend last year. Cannot say enough good things about the Newagen, its location, staff, food and goings-on.
