The rainiest June in nearly 100 years was not the weather we had hoped for when David Ryan,, commercial and architechtural photographer from Springfield, Massachussetts, arrived at Newagen on Saturday. While this soggy setting would prove to be an insurmountable hurdle for most, David and his very capable assistant (and wife) Susan rolled with the punches and delivered extraordinary photographs through an impeccable eye for detail and artistry.
Day 1 and 2 included photography of all guestroom types, the delicious and inventive culinary cuisine from Chef Daniel Stevens, the Tavern and a wedding. The entire 4 days proved to be very educational and enjoyable for our entire team as David explained with great detail each technique and photograph. Not only is he an outstanding photographer but also the consummate professional, with the patience of Job, and an all around pleasant person.
